<p>Ferrari has decided to recall all of the 458  Italia cars it made this year, following reports of a number of the  luxury cars catching fire.</p>
<p>Ferrari said its engineers had flown around the world to investigate five reports of &#8220;thermal incidents&#8221;.</p>
<p>As a result, it will be asking the owners of more than 1,200 of the supercars to bring them in for modification work.</p>

When Mazda invited us to Milan to see its new concept car, we knew it  must be something important. Normally concept cars get their 15 minutes  of fame at an auto show, and then it&#8217;s off to the next press conference  to see what the following automaker will introduce. Not so with Mazda&#8217;s  latest styling endeavor. The Japanese automaker wanted our full and  undivided attention, with the center of international design and fashion  in Italy as a fitting backdrop.</p>

<p>The White House said at the time that it was confident haulage firms  could cut emissions from heavy trucks by about 20 percent using existing  technologies.</p>
<p>Now the EPA and DOT have lodged draft standards with the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review.</p>
<p>The OMB provided no details on the nature of the proposed rules,  signaling only that it has received a draft proposal for &#8220;commercial  medium- and heavy-duty on-highway vehicles and work truck fuel  efficiency standards.&#8221;</p>
